"How-To" Photographic Techniques

This section is devoted to articles contributed by members of The Downers Grove Camera Club which feature not-so-well-known techniques aimed at improving one's own photographic capabilities. Each one of these articles represent an area of specialization for which the author is known or which they have practiced regularly to achieve a special effect not always directly related to the moment when the shutter was snapped.

Many of these techniques will relate directly to film photography. Others will focus on the evolving new arena opened by the advances in digital photography which, in many cases, allows those with film backgrounds to combine the best of both worlds.
